The Octagon is a producing theatre in the centre of Bolton which opened in 1967. It seats 500 people.

A major redevelopment has been announced to start in late 2017. Architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley, have designed an extension which will include a new box office and entrance, and the creation of a new first floor bar.
