A museum exploring home and home life from 1600 to the present, the Geffrye recreates domestic interiors over the centuries, including a 1998 loft apartment (with Dyson vacuum cleaner), a 1745 parlour and an 1830 drawing room with an eye-twisting blue divan.

There are special exhibitions and events throughout the year, and a food market every Sunday.

The nearest Tube is Old Street, nearly a mile away, but Hoxton railway station (Overground) is directly adjacent.
