One of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh's three regional gardens, Dawyck is located south-west of Peebles in the Scottish Borders. It is a woodland garden, with popular focal points including the Azalea Terrace, the Swiss Bridge, the Dynamo Pond, an early domestic hydro electric scheme, and the fagus sylvatica 'Dawyck', a cultivated group of beeches with fastigiate growth.
