English Heritage: Restormel Castle
Beautiful ruin of a circular Norman castle, once owned by Edward of Woodstock (the Black Prince), perched on a high mound and surrounded by a deep moat. A fantastic spot for wildlife and picnics.
Free parking available for 25 vehicles. Lostwithiel train station is one and half miles from Restormel Castle. Local bus services 423 or 483 (Wed only), 296 (Tue only) and G4 also stop nearby.
