With it's moat and great tower Nunney is an impressive medieval castle ruin, built in the 1370s by Sir John de la Mere and modernised in the 16th century before much of the building was ransacked during a siege in 1645 during the Civil War.

Free car parking available. The 161 bus service stops within walking distance. Dogs on leads welcome.
