St Andrews Pottery
Home studio and workshop offering traditional hand-thrown pottery and classes.
Originally known as Church Square Ceramics when it was established in St Andrews in 1984, the renamed St Andrews Pottery has since moved five miles west to the village of Blebo Craigs. There, potter George Young leads weekend classes introducing students to the basics of throwing or working on improving existing skills. Young also sells ceramics that have been thrown and glazed on-site, from bowls, plates, mugs and other kitchenware to lamps and vases. There’s a bespoke design service too, with Young happy to add custom text to any product, and four finishing glazes to choose from.
