The Weem Gallery and Framer
Gallery and framer selling paintings, prints, glass, ceramics and jewellery
Freshly opened in August 2016, this compact Pittenweem-based gallery and framer showcases contemporary, idiosyncratic work by local artists working in a wide range of disciplines, including 3D digital illustrator Mark Bannerman, glasswork artist Jeff Cunningham, porcelain sculptor Craig Mitchell and painters Jennifer Pettigrew and Sheila Mitchell. There’s also a selection of more practical pieces for everyday use, including ceramics from Helen Faulkner, Susan Basham and Amy Page, and jewellery by Caroline John. With links to the local Fisher Studio and Gallery, plus a participatory role in the Pittenweem Arts Festival already under its belt, the Weem Gallery has quickly cemented its place in the Fife arts network.
