A collection of private artists' studios located outside Pittenweem.
Ovenstone Artists studios is a collection of private artists’ workshops located a mile and a half north of Pittenweem. The residents create works across a range of disciplines, including painting, mixed media, prints, salt print photography and sculpture, and although the studios have no set opening hours, visitors are usually welcome to drop by. Ovenstone also takes part in occasional open studio and art festival events, most recently in the 2016 Pittenweem Arts Festival. Among the six artists currently in residence are photographer Scott Morris, painter Karen Goode, Susan Winton (who also operates Pittenweem’s Cobalt Contemporary Art Gallery) and Ovenstone founder Anne Barclay.
