Newtown Textile Museum
The building is a fine example of an early 19th century weaving shop with cottages below and two large loom rooms above, located in well preserved historic area of town.
The museum uses the building to tell the story of the building and its occupants, weaving and spinning and the history of the town that grew around the wool industry.
Wool craft demonstrations are held on Saturdays. Check the museum's website for the program..
