1. A very disappointed aunt31 Dec 2011, 8:22pm Report

This was the worst day out ever. Supposed to be to ride on Thomas the tank Engine. Thomas was almost unrecognisable because of the dirt and he was pulling the train BACKWARDS so the children couldn't see his face. The Fat Controller looked like a sexual pervert as he invited the children to "back up to him and sit on his knee" to get a present. Children were REFUSED a mince pie and adults in the care of the small children were all given alcohol (when it said free drink, I thought it meant tea!). The free sweets for children was an open dish of jelly babies with a lot of dirty hands sharing their germs with the open dish. The carriages were filthy as were most of the staff. Absolutely disgusting. The puppet show after the trip, on the station was quite good and the kids enjoyed it and the piano accordian was also quite nice at the end of the train ride. Overall, an absolute rip off. £35 for 2 adults and 1 small child.
