St Peter's Seminary

St Peter's Seminary
Unnamed Road, Cardross, Dumbarton, G82 5EY

St. Peter's Seminary was built in the early 1960's but closed as a seminary in 1980 and was abandoned in the late 1980s'. It was designed by architects Gillespie, Kidd & Coia and is listed Grade A, and is one of the foremost modernist building in Scotland. It is now disused and in a very poor condition.

During 2015, discussions continued about possible new uses, and artist Angus Farquhar and NVA have plans for events in 2016 and going forward broader intentions to create a new arts venue.
