Photo of de Havilland Aircraft Museum

The oldest aviation museum in the UK is devoted to conserving and celebrating the de Havilland heritage, and features aircraft from a 1939-vintage DH82 Tiger Moth to a BAe 146 short-haul airliner. There are fuselages of no less than three of the legendary but ill-fated Comet, the first jet airliner to enter commercial service, and many of the planes can be explored internally.

The museum has a programme of exhibitions and events.

The museum is located by exit 22 of the M25. The nearest train station is Potters Bar (East Coast Main Line); take the B556 westbound.
