The Warner Bros Studio Tour London is basically a giant interactive museum devoted to the Harry Potter movies, although WB has talked of extending it to other movie franchises. The three-hour tour is challenging for the very young or very old, but there's a dizzying assemblage of sets, costumes, props, doodads and things to push, pull, sit on and wear. Roughly speaking, the first half reacquaints you with the world of the film, while the second half shows you the technical underside, with concept drawings, animatronic figures and, as a climax, the stunning Hogwarts scale model. It's not cheap, and you should come prepared to take a final financial walloping in the epic gift shop, but it's like nowhere else.
The Tour has ample parking, and there is a dedicated shuttle bus to and from Watford Junction station. Advance booking is essential, as tickets cannot be bought on site.
