Located near South Queensferry, Hopetoun House is one of Scotland’s finest stately homes, open to visitors during the summer months. It occasionally holds classical musical recitals, as well as sporting activities such as clay shooting. As a traditional estate, Hopetoun also produces food and forestry products, selling Christmas trees and firewood on the premises.

Scottish Tree Festival: Hopetoun's Tree-mendous Walks

Available when Hopetoun is normally closed, this Ranger-led walk will guide you through the nature and history of some of the specimen trees found throughout Hopetoun’s designed landscape. Look out for wildlife whilst learning about the historical use, folklore and natural history of the trees within the Hopetoun 144 acres.
