The Signal Tower Museum is located in the former shore station, built in 1813, for the Bell Rock Lighthouse which is 11 miles off the coast of Arbroath.

Information on the Bell Rock lighthouse construction and life as a lighthouse keeper from 1811 to 1988 when it became unmanned.

There is history of the fishing, shipping and lawnmower industries of Arbroath, children's activities and a 45-minute BBC documentary.
