The Signal Tower Museum is located in the former shore station, built in 1813, for the Bell Rock Lighthouse which is 11.5 miles off the coast of Arbroath. In the museum, you can discover how the Bell Rock Lighthouse was constructed and what it was like living as a Lighthouse Keeper between 1811 and 1988. Visitors can also learn about the history of the fishing and shipping industries in Arbroath. There are children's activities and a 45-minute BBC documentary to see. Entry to the museum is free with free parking at the adjacent Arbroath Harbour.
