A landscape project designed by Charles Jencks, who did the popular Landform outside the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art One, the Crawick Multiverse consists of a number of earth- and stoneworks situated in a former open cast mine. Designed to be landscape art accessible to all, it was privately funded by the Duke of Buccleuch and deals with themes of space, astronomy and cosmology.
