A community hub for the arts, the Harbour Arts Centre hosts a programme of music, art, comedy, theatre and film, as well as workshop and classes in theatre and art, for adults and children.

The Harbour Arts Centre is reachable by regular buses from Glasgow, Ayr, Ardrossan and Kilmarnock. Irvine Train Station is on the Glasgow–Ayr line and the HAC is about a ten minute walk from the station.
There is wheelchair access throughout the centre with wheelchair spaces available in the theatre.

Arranged a retirement meal in the HAC BAR on Friday 31/05/2013 for over 20 people and I must say the service was 1st class as for the meal it was amazing every dish was delicious and the cocktails well, will most definitely be back for more. The staff in here cannot do enough for you. I can highly recommend a visit you wont be disappointed. We will definitely be back .
