Friendly, clean and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in central Scarborough - we are the nearest guest house to both Scarborough Railway Station and the Stephen Joseph Theatre.. Most major bus services pick up and drop off near to the guest house. FREE WI-FI. FREE PARKING PERMITS - until 10am on your day of departure. Ivy Dene Guest House is situated on the right-hand corner of West Square, opposite the railway station. We are conveniently close to the main shopping and restaurant areas, and the beaches and seaside attractions are only a short stroll away. The more energetic visitor can enjoy walks up to Scarborough Castle and to Oliver s Mount - the views from both are spectacular. FREE PARKING PERMITS for guests arriving by car (strictly one permit per room). Parking is on a first come first served basis, we cannot guarantee that you will find a parking space. Motorcycles may be parked on street free of charge (no permit required). Guests with a Disabled parking badge may park free of charge in disc parking zones in Scarborough. PLEASE NOTE it is the responsibility of guests to request a parking permit. We do not accept responsibility for any parking fines however they are incurred. We only offer free parking permits to cover your vehicle until 10am on your day of departure. Free Wi-Fi throughout the guest house, passcode available on request. Bed and breakfast rate includes cereals, fruit juice, and a full English breakfast (or vegetarian alternative) using locally sourced ingredients (free range eggs from a local farm, sausages made specially for us by a local family butcher), toast, tea and coffee. WE DO NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR STAG OR HEN PARTIES. If you have any special requirements, such as mobility/disability/diet issues, you must contact us before booking. We will do our best, but cannot guarantee to meet your needs, particularly for guests with mobility problems there is no guest accommodation on the ground floor, all rooms are accessed via the main staircase. Unfortunately we do not have storage space for wheelchairs, prams, pushchairs, golfing equipment etc, unless it is stored in guest bedrooms.
