The Fine Art Society
Situated on Dundas Street, in the heart of Edinburgh's Georgian New Town, The Fine Art Society in Edinburgh specialises in Scottish paintings and sculpture from the 18th century to the present.
Previously trading as Bourne Fine Art, the gallery merged with The Fine Art Society, London in 2004. The Fine Art Society is one of the world’s oldest art dealerships and has traded from 148 New Bond Street, London, since its foundation in 1876. The Fine Art Society’s tradition of dealing in Scottish art dates back to its first Edinburgh exhibition of 1969. It took a permanent gallery space in Edinburgh in 1973.
