The Hope Theatre is above the Hope and Anchor pub on the corner of Islington Park St and Upper St.
It offers a performance space with a programme of new works, often from young theatre companies such as time Zone Theatre.
It prides itself on the lack of public money supporting its operations, with a commitment to paying all performers and staff. The Artistic Director is Matthew Parker.
