Tiverton Community Arts Theatre is, as its name suggests, a community-run project with a staff of volunteers that seeks to bring high quality live performance to the local area. They present a programme of theatre, live music and other events, while the Comedy Hall comedy club books appearances from well-known names on the circuit: Stephen K Amos, Shappi Khorsandi and punk poet John Cooper Clarke have all played here.
The nearest railway station, Tiverton Parkway, isn't in Tiverton itself but some eight miles to the east, near junction 27 of the M5's junction (linking to the A361).
