The Lights is the hub for creative activity in north-west Hampshire, with a 242-seat auditorium, an arena hall, a conference room, a dance studio, function rooms and a café bar. It has a programme of theatre, live music, comedy, dance and kids' events, as well as hosting special events such as a record/CD fair and food & drink events. It also gives regular art, craft and drama workshops for kids.

Andover station is ten minutes' walk away and the venue is served by the 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8 bus routes.

The theatre boasts a packed programme of live music, comedy, dance, serious theatre and children's events and workshops, designed to appeal to the whole community. There are also special events during the year including record and cd fairs and food and drink events.

The venue has level access.

Free parking is available after 4pm within a short walk of the venue. Andover Railway station is a ten minute walk away and the bus station is within two minutes.
