Mascalls Gallery

Mascalls Gallery is located in the heart of Kent on the site of Mascalls School in Paddock Wood. Since opening in 2006, Mascalls Gallery has brought the work of John Piper, Marc Chagall, LS Lowry and many others to rural Kent in addition to regular exhibitions of emerging regional artists.

Mascalls Gallery programmes an ambitious range of nationally important exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. Exhibitions regularly feature loans from Tate as well as other major private and public collections both in the UK and further afield.

Supported by Mascalls School, the gallery is designed to broaden horizons, raise aspirations and inspire creativity. Visitors enjoy the intimate nature of Mascalls Gallery which allows in-depth study of masterpieces usually only seen in crowded London galleries.

Mascalls Gallery was founded to serve the local area but as the reputation has grown we see visitors travel for many hours to see our exhibitions. Paddock Wood is near the A21 and M20, and on the mainline rail network making Mascalls Gallery easily accessible from London and across the region. Make a day of your visit; we are near to Marc Chagall’s beautiful stained glass at Tudeley Church, many National Trust properties including Knole, Scotney Castle and Sissinghurst, and a wide range of lovely country pubs.
