The Coach House Pittenweem
Cheerful two storey gallery and shop stocking quality artisan crafts and textiles.
This friendly and welcoming gallery won an award from East Neuk Preservation Trust for its sympathetic conversion from an old coach house into an airy gallery and studio. Inside you’ll find a range of contemporary craft by owners Jean Duncan and Henrietta Newcombe, as well as other local artists, including several lines not available elsewhere. Driftwood mirrors, hand knitted clothing designs, jewellery, textiles, glass and ceramics create a colourful display over two storeys. Worth a particular look are Imke Thomson’s cashmere and lambswool garments, Mary Farrell’s cold-enamelled silver jewellery and Dominique Robertson’s hand-woven woollen textiles.
