This was Sigmund Freud's house during the last year of his life, and after his death it was the home of his daughter Anna, pioneer of child psychoanalysis. It includes his enormous collection of antiquities and the iconic couch from his Vienna apartment.

As well as being dedicated to the pioneer of psychoanalysis, the museum hosts art exhibitions and has a programme of talks and lectures. Don't miss the gift shop, with its collection of Freud-themed present ideas.

The nearest Tube station is Finchley Road (Jubilee & Metropolitan).
