A socialist members club and music venue which has attracted some pretty stellar names over the years: Patti Smith, Marc Almond, Thurston Moore, Robyn Hitchcock, The Fall, Martha Wainwright … Food is supplied by various enterprising local pop-ups and the bar shows all premiership games it can on the 42-inch screen in the bar. The venue is also a committed community hub, hosting political events and fundraisers.
Membership isn't expensive and confers many benefits, including discount prices for concerts and drinks at the bar. The members own and run the club, electing its committee.
