The Pavilion Theatre
Opening in 1908, with a performance of panto Mother Goose, the Weymouth Pavilion was damaged during an air raid during WWII. Reopening as a cinema in 1949 that burnt down in 1954 before finally reopening in 1960 with Let's Make A Night Of It starring Benny Hill. Now, despite several threats of closure during the 00s, the Pavilion is a much loved home for variety, music and comedy.
Weymouth train station is a 15 minute walk (approx) from the Pavilion, while the main bus stop in Weymouth at The Kings Statue on the Seafront is approximately 10 minutes walk.
