Founded at the end of the 11th Century Arundel Castle has been the family home of the Dukes of Norfolk and their ancestors for nearly 1000 years. Visitors can ascend to the top of the Norman Motte, visit the bedrooms and Victorian bathrooms, step inside the Fitzalan Chapel and admire tapestries, furniture and rare paintings throughout the castle. The gardens feature a Tropical Glass House, Victorian Vine House, The Collector Earl's Garden, a Cut Flower Garden and a Rose Garden. There is a restaurant and coffee shop for refreshments and the Castle shop located in the old Castle kitchen sells gifts.
