Founded at the end of the 11th Century Arundel Castle has been the family home of the Dukes of Norfolk and their ancestors for nearly 1000 years. Visitors can ascend to the top of the Norman Motte, visit the bedrooms and Victorian bathrooms, step inside the Fitzalan Chapel and admire tapestries, furniture and rare paintings throughout the castle. The gardens feature a Tropical Glass House, Victorian Vine House, The Collector Earl's Garden, a Cut Flower Garden and a Rose Garden. There is a restaurant and coffee shop for refreshments and the Castle shop located in the old Castle kitchen sells gifts.

An opportunity to meet a variety of historical characters such as a knight, pirate and medieval surgeon. Visitors can also enjoy have-a-go at archery, fencing and medieval skittles. Certain days also include falconry, face painting and a puppeteer.

Norman Knight's Tournament
Watch a tournament of combat and archery held in the upper grounds of Arundel Castle. A tented encampment includes a variety of crafts and demonstrations of the period including a falconry display, a story teller and have-a-go archery for over 8s.
