Clyde Auditorium

The Clyde Auditorium at the SECC, Glasgow

The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, which first opened its doors in 1985, is Glasgow's largest venue for concerts and conferences. Sitting on the banks of the Clyde, the SECC's iconic armadillo-shaped Clyde Auditorium is joined by the Lomond Auditorium, four concert halls and the recently built SSE Hydro (opened Sept 2013).

Numerous big names have stood on the SECC's stages, including the Rolling Stones, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Coldplay and Robbie Williams. Along with its musical nightlife, the SECC plays host to daytime conferences throughout the year, such as the BBC Good Food Show and the Creative Stitches Craft Show.

The SECC is reachable by ten-minute train ride from Central Station or the First Eventlink 707 bus service, which operates on a events basis.
