Glassrooms at Perth Concert Hall
Built in 2005, Perth's concert hall is a striking glass-fronted edifice with a light and open concourse which, as well as housing the ticket desk, information points and several art installations, is also home to the cafe-bar. From acoustic music to legendary conductors, the touring acts that perform here cover all bases, and so does the food on offer. From breakfast rolls to inventive pre-theatre suppers via soup & sandwich lunches, it serves as a place for business meetings, mums' gatherings and mid-shopping coffee breaks. Daily home baking is another plus (the scones are particularly noteworthy) but the real attraction is the bright and welcoming space where creative ideas are at the forefront.
