Ha what a load of old nonsense the previous reviewer was spouting. Not sure what axe he as to grind but that isn't even a vaguely accurate description!!

Perhaps it is from one of the other clubs in Bristol trying to make them look bad!!

I've been to the Bierkeller many times on Fridays and Saturdays, also many times to see bands on week nights.

The Bierkeller is not a posh club by any means, but then it doesn't claim to be (frankly if you are going somewhere called the Bierkeller and expecting a flash glitzy club you probably need to look up what a Bierkeller is!!)

The staff however are extremely freindly and the drinks are very good value.

The crowd are always up for a laugh and I think I can count on one hand the number of times i've seen trouble there in the 10 years i've been going.

The review above is just a bunch of lies.

In short if you are in Bristol and fancy a night out you could dofar worse than to give the Keller a go.

Down a dingy back street, walked in expecting something better than the run down entrance but immediately hit by the smell; dank, rotten like a warehouse with a rat infestation. Toilets possibly the worst I have been in, don't think they had been cleaned for a while - had to walk through urine to get to the basins!!

Staff surly, and though the alcohol is expensive they substitute for cheap brands and watered down foreign beer.

All in all a very disappointing place - one word to people thinking about a night out or a stag or hen do - DON'T!!

Bristol is a great place with a great deal of smart and fun bars and clubs. Bierkeller is not one of them.

Average rating 5/5 from 1 review of Bierkeller.
