The O2 Academy has been in its current site since 2009. It comprises three venues; Academy 2 and Academy 3 are smaller and specialise in new and developing talent, whereas the 3000+ seat Academy 1 is for major international acts.

The venue is served by stops for the following bus routes: 44, 61, 62, 63, 64, 66, 66A, 82, 87, 144 & 146. There is a taxi rank outside the venue and numerous car parks within walking distance.
