Opening in 1975 this arts centre hosts live music, comedy, theatre, exhibitions, spoken work and a series of workshops and classes. The WEC faced closure in the past but was saved by Poet Laureate John Betjeman in the 80s and a public campaign in 2007, and is now manage by Hampshire Cultural Trust.

A short walk form Aldershot station, local bus routes include 1, 7,15, 18 and 19.
