The elegant Cambridge Theatre was designed in 1930 and its clean, modern lines have caused it to be grade II listed sine 1999. It was built for and still specialises in musicals, has hosted hit shows such as Jerry Springer – The Opera and the revival of Chicago, and since November 2013 it's been the West End home of the multi-Olivier-winning Matilda the Musical. In 2000 it was acquired by Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group.
