A country house originally built for Georgian naval hero, Admiral Boscawen and now home to tenant Alec Cobbe and his remarkable collection of paintings, fine furniture and composer-related keyboard instruments.
The house is set in 400 acres of beautiful parkland, designed in part by Humphry Repton. There are a number of different waymarked walks throughout the park and the bluebells in the ancient woodland in the Spring are not to be missed. Families can enjoy Wizard Wix's Willow Warren – a natural adventure area with balance beams, wigwams and totem poles.
There is a gift shop and homely tea room plus a varied events programme throughout the year.
