Underwhelming. I've long had concerns about this place as it has such potential, but seems to deliver little. I've attended a number of exhibitions here and found them uninspiring and wonder what motivated people to pay so much to exhibit here: I've never seen a red dot of sale. This latest exhibition seems to suggest that it will feature a number of internationally renown old masters? As for the art courses - they've had brilliant tutors and some real duffers - a course tutor does need to be advertised and their work seen. If this institution were a privately owned vanity project that is one thing, but Candid Arts Trust is a charity - for who? I'd love to write a glowing review and see this place doing well and really promoting the arts, but now I see they have advertised a series of "events" more in keeping with a social club or youth center in a province. A cafe up two flights of stairs run by well meaning kids and no WCs is another mystery. Come on Candid! Do the job or hand it on to someone who can!
