Ashlea Manor Guest House

The house was built around 1870 to high Victorian standards in the Burgh of Monifieth by James Fairweather Low, a local businessman who manufactured machinery for the jute makers. Ashlea Manor overlooks the Firth of Tay with its extensive views beyond to Fife. The Carnoustie Room is a double-bed room with king-size bed and en-suite shower room, both recently redecorated to a high standard. The Monifieth Room is a large double-bed room with a king-size sleigh bed, its own private bathroom and has beautiful views over the Tay. It can also easily take a third person with the addition of a single foldaway bed. It is currently being redecorated and will soon have its own luxury en-suite bathroom. The St. Andrews Room is a twin-bedded guest room with private bathroom. The Blue Room is a single-bed guest room with private bathroom. All rooms come with a Coffee & Tea Tray, TV with remote control, electric alarm clock, extra blankets and pillows, and a hot-water bottle if needed!
