Prince of Wales Theatre
The current Prince of Wales Theatre is the second on the site; when construction began on the handsome Art Deco building in 1937, entertainer Gracie Fields sang to the workmen, which goes to show what a loose interpretation of 'health & safety' they had in those days. The nearest Tube is Charing Cross (Northern / Bakerloo) and the theatre is served by bus routes 14, 19 and 38.
- Open since: 1937
