The Royal Court and the Donmar may be edgier, the Theatre Royal Drury Lane may be more hallowed, but nowhere spells showbiz like the London Palladium. Under Val Parnell's management in the mid-20th century, it was the go-to venue for major Hollywood and Broadway stars, and it was here, in October 1963, that the Beatles' appearance on ITV's Sunday Night at the London Palladium made front page news the next day and effectively ignited Beatlemania. More recently it hosted the blockbusting revival of The Sound of Music, starring Connie Fisher.

The nearest underground station is Oxford Circus and there is an NCP car park at Brewer Street.

  • Provides: Wheelchair access
