The Congress Theatre is a conference centre and theatre designed by Bryan and Norman Westwood Architects and opened in 1963.

The theatre has a programme of musicals, plays, ballet, opera, comedy and live music. It seats 1,680.

A 2 year renovation project will start in 2017 also involving the Devonshire Park Theatre, Winter Garden and tennis facilities.
