The impressive St George's Hall is the oldest concert hall in use in the UK and the third oldest in Europe, opening in 1853 after German wool manufacturers in the city had financed its construction to meet the town's need for a hall that could host large meetings and concerts. It seats over 1,500 people and has hosted concerts by David Bowie, the Hallé Orchestra, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Sarah Millican, Jimmy Carr and Billy Connolly.

The hall is just down the road from Bradford Interchange, which combines rail and bus services under one roof.
