The Victoria Hall is a Grade II listed building, originally built in 1888 to mark Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. It still has its original Conacher organ (although over the years it's doubled the number of stops) and a major revamp in the mid 1990s gave the Hall enhanced front-of-house facilities and a new facade. It's now part of Ambassadors Theatre Group.
The auditorium, which seats 1400 (1600 standing), now functions as one of Stoke-on-Trent's premier music and comedy venues, hosting major touring shows as well as children's shows and dance; in 2011, local boy Slash filmed a live DVD here.
