The Butchers Arms, Clearwell
The Butchers Arms is a 13th century Inn and restaurant with accommodation. Built using Forest stone the building is one you won t forget with traditional beamed ceilings, stoned walls and a open log fire place, you ll feel right at home as soon as you walk in. We are located in the picturesque village of Clearwell. The village is on the entrance to the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley where we boast walking, canoeing, climbing, caving, cycling and mountain biking. There are many specialists in the area who can help you realise your ambitions. We have a wealth of attractions to welcome you from museums to mazes, from show caves to steam trains. When that is all said and done come back to us and enjoy the long summer evenings outside in our beer garden or in the winter warm up around our open log fire and enjoy some excellent food, real ales and fine wine.
