Dundee Rep Theatre

Dundee Repertory Theatre was founded in 1939 and has been in its current home since 1982, after a public appeal raised funds for a new permanent theatre space. The theatre itself hosts touring shows, but the theatre's Ensemble – Scotland's only full-time company of actors – also creates several new productions each year; Sunshine On Leith, the Proclaimers' jukebox musical and a show which is usually being performed somewhere in Scotland, was created by Dundee Rep Ensemble. The Rep is also the home of Scottish Dance Theatre
