Marina theatre and cinema has a colourful past; starting out as a roller skating rink the venue has been used as a temporary morgue during the Second World War and was saved 24 hours before a demolition deadline. The theatre offers a programme of West End musicals, theatre and stand-up comedy and has been a residence of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since 2005. There is a theatre cafe, bar and shop selling refreshments.
Parking is free after 6pm in the car parks situated in Clapham Road South or Whapload Road. Battery Green Road multi storey is open until 11pm and is free to theatre patrons after 5.30pm.
