Union Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1QS
Music Hall

A variety of events fill Aberdeen's Music Hall's calendar, including comedy, theatre, pop music and classical events, as well as the annual Aberdeen International Youth Festival. Housing anywhere from 1300–1500 audience members, the hall was constructed in 1822 and designed by local architect Archibald Simpson, whose work contributed to Aberdeen's nickname as 'the Granite City'. Originally the city's Assembly Rooms, it was later opened to the public as a concert hall in 1859.

The Music Hall cafe serves coffee, snacks and light lunches.
