Situated at Customhouse Quay and overlooking the River Clyde, the Beacon Arts Centre was opened in January 2013 to replace the Greenock Arts Guild Theatre.
The centre features two performing spaces, with a bistro/bar and three rehearsal rooms which can be extended to a function suite accommodating up to 170 guests. The theatre can accommodate 500 people over three levels, while the studio seats 130.
The Beacon Arts Centre is a significant new addition to the Scottish theatre and arts scene and is a venue of choice for touring productions as well as being a vibrant hub for the local community theatre groups within the area. The Beacon has two performing spaces, together with a bistro/bar and three large rehearsal rooms which can be extended to provide a function suite.
