Moorlands is located on Dartmoor just below Haytor Rocks, one of the moor s best known landmarks. It was in this comfortable country house setting that Agatha Christie wrote her first book, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, in 1917. There are 33 bedrooms which look out over the eight acres of grounds and the rolling Devon countryside beyond. From Moorlands you can reach both the high moor of Dartmoor and the beaches of the south Devon coast.
