Standing in a magnificent position overlooking Carbis Bay and the picturesque seaside town of St Ives. The hotel is close to clean sandy beaches, picturesque villages and the wealth of tourist attractions that this part of Cornwall has to offer. Back in the tranquil hotel there is a chance to enjoy the facilities which include pool table, putting green, croquet and table tennis. Bedrooms are elegantly styled and furnished providing the perfect retreat to enjoy a relaxing break. Some rooms enjoy breathtaking west facing sea views and others garden views, and enjoy complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. In the en-suite rooms you will find soft white towels for your daily use. Sample some of chefs specialties made with the finest, freshest locally farmed Cornish produce. These include St Endellion brie wedges dusted with breadcrumbs with a sweet chili dressing. Locally caught Newlyn smoked peppered mackerel fillets served with wholegrain mustard sauce, and locally picked strawberries served with full traditional Cornish Clotted Cream. Guests are welcome to enjoy a leisurely afternoon in the spacious front lounge enjoying one of the specialty Cornish Cream Teas. There are TV s in each room and in addition a range of comfortable lounges to suit your mood including a TV lounge and games room. Guests can sit relaxing whilst taking in the sights of the beautifully kept gardens which boast a range of tropical plants and exotic shrubs that flourish due to the milder climate. Situated in beautiful St Ives on the South West peninsula, there are limitless activities and attractions for you to see and do. From a number of National Trust properties and gardens steeped in Cornish heritage Cape Cornwall with its rugged and unspoiled coastline to the wonder that is the Eden project. Other local attractions include St Ives and Porthminster Beach, Tate St Ives Gallery, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trengwainton Gardens, National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Minack Theatre, Levant Mine, Flambard s Theme Park, St Michaels s Mount, Land s End and the Royal Cornwall Museum. Please note that it is not possible to check in after 21:00. We serve dinner from 6.30pm 8.30pm, booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
